Panzerfaust and M1 Garand in PUBG Mobile: How to Actually Use Them
Version 4.4 added two weapons that play nothing like the usual rifles, and most people are using them wrong. The Panzerfaust is a rocket launcher that can wipe a vehicle in one shot, and the M1 Garand is a mid range rifle that refills itself if you keep hitting. Here is how each one actually works and when to pull it out.
Panzerfaust: the car deleter
The Panzerfaust used to be stuck on Karakin. Now it is in the loot pool on Erangel, Miramar, Rondo and Weekend mode. It is a single shot rocket launcher, so every shot has to count.
Where to find it
- Rarely on the ground, so do not count on it.
- From air drops.
- From the in-match supply shop if your map has one.
The numbers that matter
- Blast radius is now 9m, up from 6m, so near misses still do work.
- Lethal range and backblast were toned down, so it is less of a guaranteed kill on players than it sounds.
- Against vehicles it is brutal, close to 1,000 damage on a clean hit. That is a one shot on basically any car.
How to use it
Treat it as an anti vehicle and anti camp tool, not a primary. If a squad is rotating in a car, hit the car, not the road. If a team is holding a small room or a tight compound, a rocket through the door does more than a grenade. Lead moving targets a little because the rocket travels, it does not hit instantly.
The big mistake: firing it with a wall right behind you. The backblast can still chip your own health, and the reload is slow, so never take the shot while you are getting pushed. Fire, then reposition.
M1 Garand: a DMR that reloads itself
The M1 Garand is locked to the Hero's Crown themed mode for now. It is an 8 round rifle that sits between a DMR and a sniper, with high damage and better stability than most marksman guns.
The refill mechanic
This is the part that changes how you play it. When you deal damage, there is a chance the magazine instantly refills. So the more you hit, the less you reload. If you stay accurate in a long fight you can keep firing way past the normal 8 rounds, which is huge for holding an angle.
How to shoot it
- Tap, do not spray. It is built for clean single shots at medium range.
- Aim chest or head like any DMR. Body shots still hit hard here.
- Pair it with a close range gun like an UMP or a shotgun, since it is weakest in your face.
- Use the stability. You can re aim faster between shots than you can with an SKS, so do not rush and throw the rhythm off.
Quick takeaways
- Panzerfaust is for vehicles and campers, fired from a safe spot, never while exposed.
- M1 Garand rewards accuracy with free reloads, so slow down and hit your shots.
- Both are situational. Keep a normal rifle as your main and swap to these when the moment fits.
