What's Coming in PUBG Mobile 4.5: Naruto, Spider-Man and Ferrari
Version 4.4 is barely warmed up and the next one already looks stacked. PUBG Mobile 4.5 is set for July 9, and it is bringing a full Naruto Shippuden crossover, a Spider-Man tie in a little later in the month, Ferrari cars, and a few weapon tweaks. Here is what is coming and roughly when.
Naruto Shippuden is the main event
This is the big one. The map gets Hidden Leaf Village landmarks, and there is a proper ninjutsu system built on a chakra meter that you spend to use abilities. From what has been shown so far:
- Ninja Run: a movement boost that bumps your speed and jump height.
- A Flying Raijin style teleport for quick repositioning.
- Mud Wall for instant cover when you need to break line of sight.
- Offensive jutsu including Fireball, Rasengan and Chidori.
There are character skins coming for Naruto, Sasuke, Kakashi, Sakura and Itachi. If the abilities carry into a limited mode the way these collabs usually do, expect movement to get a lot wilder than normal PUBG.
Spider-Man swings in later
A Spider-Man collaboration is lined up for around July 30, so a few weeks after launch. The Web-Shooters return as an equippable item that lets you climb walls and swing between buildings, and Web Grenades give your squad a crowd control tool for locking enemies down. It is the kind of thing that completely changes how you take a compound.
Ferrari cars
On the car side, Ferrari content rolls out alongside the update. Expect skins for the 488 GTB and the SF90 Stradale with extra customization, mostly through lucky spin events. Cosmetic, but they look the part.
Weapon and gameplay tweaks
It is not all collabs. A few weapons are getting touched up, with the QBZ, M762 and Kar98K all seeing changes and improved hit effects. There are also new movement mechanics meant to make the mid game less stale. We will know the exact numbers once the patch notes go live.
Dates to keep in mind
- July 9: 4.5 goes live globally with the Naruto crossover, new Royale Pass and Prize Path tracks.
- Around July 30: the Spider-Man content and Web-Shooters arrive.
- Ferrari skins and lucky spin events run across the update.
If you are chasing the Naruto skins, start saving now, collab cosmetics in PUBG Mobile are never cheap. And as always, the patch notes can shift before launch, so treat the weapon changes as a heads up rather than final.
